The Manual
De-schooling education
The manual is a proposal for a design tool that brings all the values for a sustainable education closer to educators (parents and teacher). It is a playful illustrated booklet that focuses on the findings on this research project with tips form implementation in education. Each topic is described very shortly and written in an easy, understandable language. The aim is to inform parents and teacher about the issues of education to motivate them to act and provide the best possible education for their children. I am aware that I try to "school" people with this manual but since not everybody has access to the internet it was important to create something that is equally available. Of course there should be a PDF version provided as well.
This tool is only an idea how the research can be communicated to adults but of course there are more possibilities which remind less of school and are more innovative.
Following the development of the game the manual will be included as an instruction guideline for educators to understand the purpose and relevance of the topic.
